You can delete your SureGut account in two ways. The fastest is from inside the app: open SureGut, go to the Profile tab → Settings → Delete Account, and your account and data are removed immediately. If you no longer have the app installed, submit a verified deletion request using the form on this page, which requires both your SureGut User ID and the email address on your account.
Yes, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your account, dietary profiles, scan history, and advertising-attribution records are removed and cannot be recovered. Some information may remain briefly in encrypted backups, or where the law requires us to keep it (for example, subscription transaction records), before being permanently erased.
Deleting your account from inside the app takes effect immediately. A request submitted through this web form (or by email) is verified and completed within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active SureGut Premium subscription, because subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google rather than by us. To stop billing, cancel the subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
No. SureGut never sells your personal information. After deletion, your data is removed from our systems — aside from an anonymized, self-expiring daily counter we keep briefly to prevent abuse of the free-scan allowance, and any records we are legally required to retain. First check your spam or junk folder. If you still don't see it, email support@suregut.com and we'll confirm your request and make sure your account is deleted.
