Delete Your SureGut Account

You can permanently delete your SureGut account and all associated data. The fastest way is from inside the app:

In the app: Open SureGut → Profile tab → SettingsDelete Account. Your account and data are removed immediately.

If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion below.

What gets deleted

This cannot be undone. Active subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and are not cancelled by deleting your account — please cancel any subscription separately in the App Store or Play Store. Some records may be retained briefly in encrypted backups or where required by law (e.g., transaction records) before being permanently erased.

Request Account Deletion

To verify your request, please provide both your SureGut User ID and the email address associated with your account (from your Apple or Google sign-in). We will verify your request and delete your data within 30 days.

Where do I find my User ID? Open SureGut → Profile tab. Your User ID is shown near the top of the screen (it starts with auth_) and can be tapped to copy.

Is deleting my SureGut account permanent? Can I recover it?

Yes, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your account, dietary profiles, scan history, and advertising-attribution records are removed and cannot be recovered. Some information may remain briefly in encrypted backups, or where the law requires us to keep it (for example, subscription transaction records), before being permanently erased.

How long does it take to delete my SureGut account?

Deleting your account from inside the app takes effect immediately. A request submitted through this web form (or by email) is verified and completed within 30 days.

What happens to my subscription if I delete my account?

Deleting your account does not cancel an active SureGut Premium subscription, because subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google rather than by us. To stop billing, cancel the subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Will my data be shared or sold after I delete my account?

No. SureGut never sells your personal information. After deletion, your data is removed from our systems — aside from an anonymized, self-expiring daily counter we keep briefly to prevent abuse of the free-scan allowance, and any records we are legally required to retain. What if I don't receive the confirmation email?

First check your spam or junk folder. If you still don't see it, email support@suregut.com and we'll confirm your request and make sure your account is deleted.
